Yesterday we celebrated Mr. Duck's 30th Birthday.  He cannot live without his chocolate cake, so we bought him a huge one from Costco.  I swear, the thing must weigh 5 lbs.

Chocolate cake.  Mr. Duck will finish this in a week.

We followed up with some yummy breakfast at Sportello (courtesy of our friends), and a little stroll around town.  Sportello is one of Barbara Lynch's new restaurants, and is something like a modernized diner.

Blueberry pancakes, full of whole grain, and quite tasty.

Best poached eggs in Boston so far.  We have plans to go back for dinner and try the homemade pastas.
